Making Sound Part of Your World Again

Woman using an talking amplified telephone for those hearing loss and low vision.

Hearing disabilities come in all decibels. At ND Assistive, we have assistive technology (AT) devices to help lessen the impact of a hearing loss for you, a family member, or a client you serve.

Whether you need a device that makes sounds louder or something that converts sound to a visual or tactile message we will work to find the equipment that does what you need. Using our years of experience, we'll discuss your needs and help you determine what devices will best fit your situation. This equipment might include:

  • Personal amplification devices for home, work, or leisure

  • Visual and tactile alerting devices that turn sounds into light signals or vibrations to alert for alarms, door bells and phones

  • Telephones that amplify incoming voices or convert incoming speech to written text

A loss of hearing should not hold you back at work, at home, or at play. You should never feel unsafe in your home because you have difficulty hearing the phone, alarms, or doorbells. No matter your age, if you have a hearing loss, contact us and see how we can help.
